It’s All Upside Down At Wonder Works
Orlando’s WonderWorks is instantly recognizable by the inverted appearance of the building. Legend has it that this wacky lab of fantastic experiments was uprooted from its secret location in the Bermuda Triangle during a wayward tornado experiment and landed upside-down in its current location. Inside the lab, guests can experience the wonder of participating in some outrageous experiments themselves, such as laying on a bed of nails, standing inside a gigantic bubble and moving a ball with nothing more than mind waves.
Whether you’re getting your picture taken in an astronaut space suit or dancing in the Foot Motion Dome, every experiment gives you a chance to feel, play, experiment and be an integral part of the action. Budding designers can create and ride their own roller coaster. Athletes can try their hand pitching the WonderWorks Velocity Ball at a virtual Derek Jeter, Sammie Sosa, Ryan Howard, Barry Bonds or Chipper Jones. You may have been prepared for some rainy weather when you came to Florida, but WonderWorks takes weather phenomenon to the extreme, giving you the chance to experience virtual hurricanes and earthquakes with stunning intensity.
In addition to the exhibits, WonderWorks also features laser tag, a ropes course, a 4D theater and the Outta Control Magic Comedy Dinner Show.
