Slip And Slide At Wet ‘n Wild

Wet ‘n Wild offers water park fun in Orlando 365 days a year. In sweltering summers it’s an ideal place to cool off, while heated pools keep it comfortable even in the winter months. Wet ‘n Wild boasts dozens of innovative water rides to suit every type of guest. Water slides, knee skiing, and wake skating are sure to keep thrill seekers busy. Meanwhile, the park’s smaller guests have a whole world of their own to explore in the Kids Park. Since many rides are restricted to those 48″ and taller, the Kids Park is only for those under 48″.

Parties who want to ride together can load into tubes or toboggans on rides such as Brain Wash, The Black Hole and The Surge for a thrill the whole group can share. Visitors looking for a solo experience can brave The Storm, a body coaster that swirls downward into the pool below. If you’re after a straight shot, The Bomb Bay drops nearly vertical for 76 feet. After all the activity, the wave pool or lazy river are great places to relax and unwind. A host of food and beverage locations are on hand to help you recharge with options including BBQ, corn dogs, hot dogs, cotton candy, popcorn, ice cream, pizza, burgers and more.

Orlando Eats – Upscale Dining

If all you know about Orlando revolves around the Disney World specials you’ve seen on direct tv you’ve got another think coming. Orlando is an emerging foodie city and there are lots of great eats here to explore. Take a gander at a few of our favorite Orlando restaurants
Texas de Brazil – If you’ve never been to a typical Brazilian steakhouse and eaten your weight in roasted meat then you’re in for a treat. It’s a pricey place but it’s got a wonderful salad bar to help cut all that meat. Don’t forget to save room for the chicken.
The Ravenous Pig – Located in nearby Winter Park, the Ravenous Pig has transformed itself from a Wine Bar to a full-scale gastropub. They specialize in delicious and unique tapas so you can make a night of it or just have after work drinks.
Dexter’s – Right in downtown Orlando is Dexter’s, a local institution for breakfast and brunch. Beat the crowds by getting here before 9 and don’t forget to order an omelet – they’re as big as your head and twice as satisfying.
